Caleb is the Founder of Joseph the Worker, and his path into construction started with engineering design. Caleb holds a background in Mechanical Engineering along with an MBA, and he’s a certified Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Mechanical engineer — training rooted in precision, structural understanding, and designing things that have to hold up in the real world.
Early in his career, Caleb worked as a design engineer, building 3D models and technical drawings used to design and validate physical products before they were ever built. That experience translates directly to construction: reading and creating detailed drawings, understanding how components fit together in three dimensions, and catching problems on paper before they become expensive problems on site. It’s the same skill set architects and engineers lean on for blueprints and construction documents — and it means Caleb can speak that language fluently when a project calls for it.
That eye for detail and structure still shapes how Caleb leads Joseph the Worker today: building the right systems, setting the right standards, and making sure every project — from a single window install to a full remodel — is planned with the same precision that goes into any well-engineered design.
Outside of the construction site, Caleb is married with two young children. He enjoys a wide variety of hobbies like mountain biking and backcountry backpacking (treks completed like the Camino de Santiago of up to 500 miles).
