When a stock well will not fit your foundation, your lot or the look you want, we build the egress system around your home instead of the other way around.
Manufactured egress systems cover most homes, and when one fits we will happily install it. But plenty of houses do not cooperate. Deep foundations, tight side yards, walls that will not take a standard opening, a patio or deck in the way, or a homeowner who wants the well to be an actual feature rather than a hole in the ground. That is where a custom system earns its money. We design and build the well, the opening and the finish around your specific wall, grade and space, so the result meets code, drains properly and looks like part of the house from day one.
Custom does not mean improvised. It means we start with the code requirement, then engineer the well, the drainage and the finish to work with the space you actually have. We will walk the site with you, take real measurements and show you what is possible before anything gets ordered.
Every custom system still has to satisfy the same rules as a stock one. Under SPS 321.03 the well must be at least as wide as the window, project a minimum of 36 inches from the foundation wall, and include a ladder or stair once it runs more than 46 inches deep. Building it custom gives us room to exceed those numbers where it makes the space better, not to work around them.

Most window wells are something homeowners tolerate. A custom system does not have to be.
